AHHHH Minnesota!

We've arrived, cursed the rain, braved a few snow falls, visited with friends and family.... and thus far survived to tell about.
We have managed to get outside and enjoy the cool, autumn air. There is something fresh and wonderful about the smell of Minnesota in the autumn. The leaves are just starting to change color and it is brilliant to see.

A field across from Ma and Pa Norstad's home
Glad the kids wore boots that day, 'cause it was muuuuudddddy.
Children of the corn?
Climbing up the hill behind grandpa and grandma's home
Taking a walk on the good old Root River Trail in Lanesboro

Anna wearing her lucky Vikings jersey
Make me another bloody mary, Bob.
Chesney and Logan with their Jahnke cousins, Livia and Evan.

We hope to get together with many of you while home. Call me at Bob and Martha's and we can try to get together.

The Beach

The beach is where you dig big holes in the sand.
The beach is where you climb in a hole and get buried up to your waist.
The beach is where you climb your way out of said hole.
The beach is where you crawl around on the sand pretending you are puppies.

The beach is where you ponder over the need for a pedicure.
the beach is where you fill up your pails with sand.
The beach is where you jump over the waves as they crash on the shore.
The beach is where you run to fill up your pails with water to make sand castles.
The beach is where your son says, "Mom, I want to go home. Your ruining our fun by taking too many pictures."

Ahhhhhhh, the beach.......
